On May 18, 2018, at around 7:32 AM, 17-year-old Dimitrios Pagourtzis, armed with a Remington 870 shotgun & .38 caliber revolver, opened fire in an art classroom. He moved through Santa Fe High School, targeting classmates and teachers. After a brief standoff, he surrendered to the police. Dimitrios Pagourtzis was a quiet, withdrawn student. He was often bullied and wore a trench coat, even in warm weather. His social media was littered with cryptic and violent posts. He reportedly spared students he "liked," while methodically killing others. Both guns were legally owned by his father. At the time of posting this, Dimitrios is awaiting trial. He was found unfit for court as of recent hearings.
