Ted Bundy Washington, Utah, Colorado, Florida (Active: 1974–1978)

Bundy was a notorious serial killer active primarily during the 1970s, confessing to the murders of 30 young women across several U.S. states. His victims were predominantly white females, aged between 12 and 26, often college students.

Known Victims:

1. Karen Sparks – 18 years old. Attacked on January 4, 1974 in her University of Washington home; survived with permanent injuries.

2. Lynda Ann Healy – 21 years old. On February 4, 1974, Healy was abducted from her Seattle home; remains were partially recovered at Taylor Mountain.

3. Donna Gail Manson – 19 years old. Disappeared on March 12, 1974 on her way to a concert at Evergreen State College; remains never found.

4. Susan Elaine Rancourt – 18 years old – Vanished on April 17, 1974 after an evening meeting at Central Washington State College; skull and mandible found at Taylor Mountain.

5. Roberta Kathleen Parks – 22 years old Last seen on May 6, 1974 at Oregon State University; remains discovered at Taylor Mountain.

6. Brenda Carol Ball – 22 years old. Disappeared on June 1, 1974 after leaving a tavern in Burien, Washington; skull found at Taylor Mountain.

7. Georgann Hawkins – 18 years old. Abducted June 4, 1974 from an alley near her sorority house at the University of Washington; remains identified by Bundy, though officially still missing.

8. Janice Ann Ott & Denise Marie Naslund – 23 & 19 years old. On July 14, 1974 both were abducted hours apart from Lake Sammamish State Park; skeletal remains found at Issaquah site.

9. Nancy Wilcox – 16 years old. Last seen in Holladay, Utah on October 2, 1974. Her body was never recovered.

10. Melissa Anne Smith – 17 years old Disappeared on October18, 1974 from Midvale, Utah; body found nine days later in Summit Park.

11. Laura Ann Aime – 17 years old. Vanished from Lehi, Utah on October 31, 1974 ; body discovered in American Fork Canyon.

12. Carol DaRonch d– 18 years old. On November 8, 1974, Carol survived an abduction attempt in Murray, Utah; later testified against Bundy.

13. Debra Jean Kent – 17 years old. Disappeared on November 8, 1974 after leaving a school play in Bountiful, Utah; partial remains identified in 2015.

14. Caryn Eileen Campbell – 23 years old. Disappeared on January 12, 1975 from a hotel in Snowmass Village, Colorado; body found a month later near the hotel.

15. Julie Lyle Cunningham – 26 years old. Vanished from Vail, Colorado on March 15, 1975; her body was never found.

16. Denise Lynn Oliverson – 24 years old. April 6, 1975 she was abducted while cycling in Grand Junction, Colorado; body never recovered.

17. Lynette Dawn Culver: 12 years old. Taken from Pocatello, Idaho; body never found.

18. Susan Curtis – 15 years old. Disappeared from Brigham Young University on June 28, 1975; herd body never recovered.

19. Margaret Elizabeth Bowman and Lisa Janet Levy – 21 & 20 years old. Attacked and killed on January 15, 1878 in their rooms at the Chi Omega sorority house, Florida State University.

20. Karen Chandler and Kathy Kleiner— 21 years old. Survived attacks at the Chi Omega house with serious injuries on January 15, 1976.

21. Cheryl Thomas– 21 years old. Attacked in her apartment on January 15, 1978; she survived with permanent injuries.

22. Kimberly Dianne Leach – 12 years old. Abducted from her school on February 9, 1978 in Lake City, Florida; body found seven weeks later near Suwannee River State Park.

Bundy's reign of terror spanned multiple states, leaving a trail of devastation. His ability to evade capture for years was due in part to his charismatic demeanor, which he used to gain victims' trust. The full extent of his crimes remains unknown, as he hinted at many more murders before his execution in 1989.
