Jeffrey Dahmer “The Milwaukee Cannibal”, Milwaukee, Wisconsin (Active: 1978–1991)

Jeffrey Dahmer, infamously known as the "Milwaukee Cannibal," was responsible for the murders of 17 young men between 1978 and 1991. His crimes involved not only murder but also acts of necrophilia and cannibalism.

1. Steven Hicks – 18 years old. Killed on June 18, 1978. Hicks was last seen hitchhiking to a rock concert in Bath, Ohio. Dahmer lured him to his parents' home, where he bludgeoned and strangled him. He dismembered the body and scattered the remains in woodland behind the house.

2. Steven Tuomi – 25 years old. Killed November 20, 1987. Tuomi was killed in a rented room at the Ambassador Hotel in Milwaukee. Dahmer claimed to have no memory of the murder, suggesting he might have killed Tuomi in a drunken stupor. The body was dismembered, and no remains were ever found.

3. James Doxtator – 14 years old. Killed on January 16, 1988. Doxtator was lured to Dahmer's residence with the promise of $50 in exchange for posing for nude photos. After being strangled, Jeffrey kept his body for a week before being dismembered and discarded.

4. Richard Guerrero – 22 years old. Killed on March 24, 1988. Guerrero was drugged and strangled at Dahmer's grandmother's house. His body was dismembered, and the remains were disposed of without being recovered.

5. Anthony Sears – 24 years old. Killed on March 25, 1989. Sears was the last victim killed at Dahmer's grandmother's residence. Dahmer preserved Sears' skull and genitals, which were found in his apartment after his arrest.

6. Raymond Smith – 32 years old. Killed on May 20, 1990. Smith, a male sex worker, was the first victim killed at Dahmer's North 25th Street apartment. After being drugged and strangled, his skull was painted and retained.

7. Edward Smith – 27 years old. Killed on June 14, 1990. Smith was an acquaintance of Dahmer. After being killed, his body was dismembered, and no remains were recovered.

8. Ernest Miller – 22 years old. Killed on September 2, 1990. Miller was a dance student. Dahmer severed his carotid artery, causing death. Parts of his body were stored for later consumption, and his skeleton was retained.

9. David Thomas – 22 years old. Killed on September 24, 1990. Thomas was lured to Dahmer's apartment but was deemed "not my type." Despite this, Dahmer killed him, and no remains were found.

10. Curtis Straughter – 17 years old. Killed on February 18, 1991. Straughter was approached at a bus stop. After being drugged and strangled, his body was dismembered, and certain parts were retained.

11. Errol Lindsey – 19 years old. Killed on April 7, 1991. Lindsey was the first victim of Dahmer's "drilling technique," where he drilled into the skull and injected acid. Lindsey awoke after the procedure and was subsequently killed.

12. Tony Hughes – 31 years old. Killed on May 24, 1991. Hughes was deaf and communicated with Dahmer through written notes. He was killed, and his body was dismembered, with the skull retained.

13. Konerak Sinthasomphone – 14 years old. Killed on May 27, 1991. Konerak was the younger brother of a boy Dahmer had previously molested. After an attempted lobotomy, Konerak escaped but was returned to Dahmer by police, believing it was a domestic dispute. He was subsequently killed.

14. Matt Turner – 20 years old. Killed on June 30, 1991. Turner was lured from Chicago to Milwaukee. After being killed, his head and organs were stored, and his torso was placed in a drum.

15. Jeremiah Weinberger – 23 years old. Killed on July 5, 1991. Weinberger was also lured from Chicago. Dahmer injected boiling water into his skull, leading to his death. His body was dismembered, and parts were retained.

16. Oliver Lacy – 23 years old. Died on July 15, 1991: Dahmer killed Lacy after luring him to his apartment, where he was drugged, strangled, and dismembered.

17. Joseph Bradehoft 25 years old. Died on July 19, 1991. Dahmer killed him after he had been lured back to his apartment, where he was strangled and dismembered.

The last of Dahmer’s victims were discovered in July 1991 after he was caught when police responded to Konerak Sinthasomphone's escape. Dahmer was arrested and eventually confessed to all the murders. He was convicted in 1992 and sentenced to life in prison. Dahmer was killed by a fellow inmate in 1994.
